  • F.A.Q: ReSample

    All questions relating to ReSample

    1. Does ReSample act as a DirectX or VST plugin ?
    2. Does ReSample allow you to change sample rate and retain the exact same length of the .wav file? (This is important to me for crunching drum tracks where I need the loop to stay the same length)
    3. Can I simultaneously normalize an entire project (that is, the multiplier is the same for the entire project)? That would be a lot easier than pasting all the .wav files together, normalizing, and then splitting them back apart.
    4. Does ReSample preserve loop-points in a WAV file ?
    5. Why is ReSample so slow?
    6. Can I convert an AIFF or Sound Edit file to WAV format using ReSample ?
    7. What is the largest WAV file that can be resampled ? I am using DAT tapes originally recorded at 32 kHz, and am trying to go to 44.1. They are 105 minutes or longer (over 1 gigabyte). PS: Processing time is not a significant issue, even if it takes "days" to complete successfully.
    8. How do I get ReSample to work properly with Windows XP ?
