- F.A.Q: M-Packs
- Questions relating to the features and functionality across the M-Pack product range
-
- 1. What is the difference between M-Pack 1 and WaveWarp for MATLAB ? - Top
- One product is, in a sense, the opposite of the other. WaveWarp for MATLAB routes data to and from MATLAB but handles all the WAV file I/O within WaveWarp, whereas M-Pack 1 does all the (chunk-by-chunk) WAV file I/O within MATLAB, and allows for convenient application of any arbitrary MATLAB effect, all within the MATLAB domain. In summary, M-Pack 1 is designed for customers who do not have WaveWarp but who wish to perform processing of (large) WAV files with MATLAB, albeit at considerably slower processing speeds than with WaveWarp.
