- Yes. WaveWarp 2.0 functions as a DirectX plugin to many popular audio editor/sequencer applications. WaveWarp 2.0 requires that the host DirectX application is compatible with version 6.0 of the Microsoft DirectX Media Runtime Libraries. WaveWarp 2.0 has been tested and found to be compatible with the following popular audio editor/sequencer applications: Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.0, Emagic Logic Audio Platinum 4.1.4, SEK'D Samplitude 2496 V 5.33 (or higher), Sonic Foundry Acid Pro 2.0, Sonic Foundry Vegas Pro, Sonic Foundry Sound Forge 4.5, Minnetonka MxTrax/Mx51 3.0.2, IQS SAW Pro 2.3, Steinberg Cubase VST24 V3.5, Steinberg Wavelab 3.0, Syntrillium CoolEdit Pro V1.2, and VAZ Modular V2.1.
