- 7. I want to process a live input in WaveWarp, then stream the data to Cakewalk in real-time. Can WaveWarp do this ? - Top
- Yes. WaveWarp's flexible DirectX plugin architecture allows you to use WaveWarp in three possible plugin modes: 1) conventional "two-sided" plugin whereby WaveWarp acts as a plugin in the normal way, receiving data from the sequencer, processing it, then sending it back to the sequencer; 2) "one-sided return" plugin whereby the audio source is generated within WaveWarp (e.g. from a live input, audio file, or signal generator), then sent to the sequencer via the "return" channel of the plugin interface; or 3)"one-sided send" plugin whereby WaveWarp receives data from the sequencer via the "send" channel of the plugin interface, processes it, then routes it directly to an audio file or soundcard rather than returning it to the sequencer.
